FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.

I'm interested in a new sport. How can I be involved?
First of all, we're happy you're exploring a new sport; it's what this platform is made for. You can update your interest sports from going to your "Account Setting" in the "More" tab, then choosing "Manage Interests". By choosing a new sport, your account will auto-follow any existing and future coach/organization of that sport, so you can be up to date with the latest events, talk, and community of that sport.

I found a coach I want to train with. How do I book?
After you're comfortable with a coach, go to the "Packages" tab on their profile, and tap "Book Now". Select a date and time that suits you (your coach will set their availability to choose from). After confirming the fees amount, a request will be sent to the coach. Once they accept, it will be added to your calendar!

How does the payment process work? When is the money transferred?
Once a package is confirmed, as an athlete you will be given a code for each session in the package. The coach will be able to enter the code starting 1 hour before the session begins (or the day of if the package is a duration package). Once you physically meet the coach before your session begins, give them the code to enter. This ensures the session will be carried out and the money will be transferred and paid out to the coach according to the package type.

What about packages with durations instead of sessions? What are those?
Some coaches and organizations offer packages that are duration-oriented. This goes through the same process, and payment occurs on the first day the package begins after showing the code and having the coach/organization enter it.

I want to cancel/reschedule a confirmed session. Is that possible?
Yes! If you want to reschedule or cancel a confirmed session, just go to the session in your calendar, tap on "Edit" and choose what you want to do. As a coach you can request a reschedule and the athlete can do it from their end.


What's the "Ongoing Packages" in the "More" tab?
The "Ongoing Packages" shows you any duration package (a package you booked that was a number of weeks or months, not session) that is currently in effect.

What do I do with the points I have?
Use points you accumulate to redeem offers from any of our sports sponsors! They have promotions going on that can be accessed from "My Points" in the "More" tab.

I want to delete my account. How do I do that?
As much as we hate to see you go, we hope you got the most out of the platform and that we helped in your athletic journey! You can delete your account through the application in the Account Settings page. If you are having trouble accessing the application or your phone for any reason, please email us at info@thetrainrapp.com and we will be more than happy to assist you!
